NIBM was founded in 1939, when the company started manufacturing industrial and construction machinery for the Dutch market. From the early days on NIBM has been known as the reliable partner for vertical transport solutions. Whether it concerns the purchase or rental of equipment, NIBM has always put customer needs first. NIBM is a subsidiary of Elephant Verenigde Bedrijven N.V., a 50 year old family-owned company. Over the years NIBM has evolved with ever changing market demands: NIBM focused its activities on the core business of offering crane and hoist solutions.
With the dealership for Potain (over 40 years) up until 2013, NIBM has become a reputable name in the Netherlands. NIBM operates worldwide, delivering both standard and custom solutions all over the world.
